Raesun has found identity and empowerment in being a part of the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community. Their dedication to their community is evident not only in their professional career but also in their personal experience. Alongside being an Administrator and Systems Coordinator, Alysia-Rae is learning about food sovereignty and food deserts. They spend their free time volunteering at local community gardens and urban forests in hopes of one day creating their own safe community space.
Alysia-Rae resides in Atlanta, Georgia, land that The Eastern Cherokee and Lower Muscogee Creek Tribe originally stewarded.
Inspire’s TA maximizes the value of the collective experience in diverse groups, ensuring that there is peer-to-peer learning and connection, something which is very beneficial when programs are so geographically separate.
